Our Network

AS58212 — not a random string of characters, but the heart of our business.

After 15 years in the hosting industry, we know what is important when operating your own network when it comes to not only offering your own customers the best possible availability, but also doing so at a competitive price. Because: The best high-availability solutions are pointless if they don't fit into your budget.

Routing, but right:

  • Deploying multiple Juniper MX routers across edge and core networks
  • Fully redundant configuration of each router with multiple power supplies, routing engines, and line cards
  • Separation of edge and core routing

Switching, but right:

  • Use of switches exclusively for layer 2 tasks
  • No termination of customer VLANs or BGP sessions on switches
  • No single point of failure for aggregation and core switches thanks to MC-LAG and MLAG technology

Not half measures:

  • Redundant connection of our locations via intersection-free optical fibers
  • Power redundancy via A/B feed and additional redundant power supplies
  • Connect each rack via multiple uplinks and core switches
  • < 50% utilization of redundant uplinks
„We don't hide behind technical terms or empty marketing phrases. As experienced system and network administrators, we will openly show you how we have built up our network — including the stumbling blocks that have led us to a highly stable system today. We are happy to share these learnings with you.“
