- Deploying multiple Juniper MX routers across edge and core networks
- Fully redundant configuration of each router with multiple power supplies, routing engines, and line cards
- Separation of edge and core routing
Switching, but right:
- Use of switches exclusively for layer 2 tasks
- No termination of customer VLANs or BGP sessions on switches
- No single point of failure for aggregation and core switches thanks to MC-LAG and MLAG technology
