We have been moving into our main location, maincubes FRA01, since May 2020, which completely replaced our former location by the end of October 2020. With maincubes, we have opted for a young, sustainable and carrier-neutral data center right behind the city limits of Frankfurt am Main, which was planned as a data center in 2017 and went into operation in 2018.

Connectivity
We are redundantly connected to the Internet via several independent carriers and peer openly. We do the routing ourselves (AS58212) within a highly available network structure. There is a separate uplink to Deutsche Telekom (DTAG).
Physical security
While many data centers are located in existing buildings, the maincubes was built and designed from the ground up as a data center. Access is secured in several stages, including via vein scanners in every separation system, which, in contrast to fingerprint scanners, are considered to be deception-proof.

A multi-level security system protects your data. And: You benefit from the clear advantages of a data center in Germany, such as operation in accordance with German standards for data protection and operational safety as well as GDPR compliance.

Design and functionality in perfection: The idea of a pioneering environment for IT infrastructures has inspired engineers and impressed experts. Datacenter Frankfurt was awarded the German Data Center Prize for visionary data center architecture.
Security & privacy: ISO-certified data center
The maincubes FRA01 offers, among other things, multi-level access controls, camera surveillance, comprehensive fire protection and a 24/7 security service that operates independently of technical personnel in a bulletproof room. The data center is TÜV-tested and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO 9001.
